Bank of Kewanee would like to remind our customers and
non-
customers that we will NEVER send any e-mail requesting sensitive
information.

confiden-
tial information, please let us

PROTECT
YOURSELF FROM ONLINE FRAUD
Fake e-mail
messages sent to you for the purpose of stealing personal and financial
information are among the most common types of e-mail fraud. Disguised as
legiti-
mate e-mail and claiming to be from sources you trust, these messages attempt
to
entice you to provide various types of personal and confidential information,
such as
online ID's and passcodes, Social Security numbers, and bank account
numbers.
TEMPORARY
LIQUIDITY GUARANTEE PROGRAM
Peoples National Bank of Kewanee is participating in the
FDIC'sTransaction Account Guarantee Program. Under
that program, through December 31, 2010, all
non-interest
bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the
FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under
the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition
to and separate from the coverage available under
the
FDIC's general deposit insurance
rules.
NOTICE OF
INCREASED FDIC DEPOSIT INSURANCE COVERAGE
On July 21, 2010, President Obama signed the Dodd-Frank Wall
Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which in part,
permanently raises the current standard maximum deposit insurance
amount to $250,000.00. The FDIC insurance coverage limit applies
per depositor, per insured depository institution for each account
ownership category.

IIMPORTANT
SECURITY MESSAGE
Due to the
ongoing negative news about Internet safety and browser security flaws,
Peoples National Bank of Kewanee would like to take this opportunity to remind
our
customers about the importance of having current Anti-Virus/Internet Security
soft-
ware and Microsoft critical security patches for Windows Operating
Systems. Anti-
Virus/Internet Security updates should be set to download and install at least
daily
and you should schedule a complete system scan of all files at least
weekly. If
you're using Windows, you shoould also automatically download and install all
critical
Microsoft security patches as soon as they are available. In today's
interconnected
world, it is extremely important to be proactive when it comes to computer
safety and
security. Although the headlines paint a grim picture of the Internet landscape,
these
simple actions will help to prevent damage to your computer or loss of your
confiden-
tial information when using the
Internet.
